I always wondered why spain and England have kings and queens still. It is to say the things that elected officals can’t. It really is time that someone said that to Chavez. He publically considers himself the enemy of American, but is secretly one of America’s best trading partners. He is all show. Now I am wondering what how the Venezuelans have taken this. All I know that I might buy one of these shirts myself if they have an english translation.

This blog reminds me of the posters entitled “Bushisms.” If you have never seen such a poster, it is a wall poster filled with quotes that make absolutely no sense. And of course, these quotes came from our wonderful leader George W. I think it’s odd how the population expects leaders and icons to be perfect all the time. When they do slip up, their misfortunes become the topic of media and also money-makers for entrepreneurs.

Haha, this reminds of the Zidane incident at the soccer world cup, as you may or may not know, Zinedine Zidane, a huge soccer icon, headbutted one of his opponents in the final of the last soccer world cup. Some companis made Zidane headbobbing figures and man those went out of the shop so quickly.

That’s the thing with famous people, when they do something that will shock you, it becomes such a big thing,even if it is a small thing like saying: Won’t you please shut up.

Now that’s thinking like an entrepreneur. Taking a statement everyone finds funny and making merchandise out of it. The opportunity was there and he took it in and made 2.2million! I’m sure people make money off of this sorta thing everyday and its a really good idea. I wonder if there is a company that makes merchandise off stupid things Bush says. If there isn’t there should be that could make a lot of money as well.

Haha, yea I’d say that if he kept interupting everyone then I’d prolly tell him to shut up too. Its crazy though how some people take an idea and it thrives, I mean anyone can say “would you please shut up.” So why is this such a big deal then compared to everything else? I guess because its a national leader saying it to another high national figure and all. But in all honesty why do people take such dumb ideas and make them great ones? I never have understood how such an idea would thrive to the extent that they have $2.2 million in the sale of this 1 ringtone. Its a simple idea though and I commend the entreprenuer of thinking of such an idea!
