Tech Support

Would you trust your computer to a company in a country where the picture below depicts what is technically acceptable? It’s in India, BTW. Hank

Oh my god! That is all that I can say. Is this a “live” interface? I have seen some pretty bad lines but this is just plain silly. How do they regulate this activity in India? Have they heard of going wireless? Hank they need help!

Hoo…something Indian! I miss these sights! Living in this kind of scenario and still progressing is the speciality of Indians. Though I was seen some worse cases, I will say that we manage everything quite well and our IT sector is advancing by leaps and bounds. And, yes Gregory, we have heard of being Wireless. Its not like this everywhere in India! But I admit that this picture is silly and a bit disgusting. Next time I go back home, I should plan to visit this place and check which company is this?

It’s just a way for a company to search an expert. One day, some IT expert’s going to come and solve the wiring. At that point, the companys going to be know who the genius is and will hire him. Its just a marketing tactic.

That is quite the mess, I feel sorry for the chump that has to get in there and work when there is a power issue.

Funny you should mention india. My sister is going to go there with engineers without boarders this fall (sept/Oct). She will not be solving that mess, probably one more important, Water. I hope to help them design the automation system for two villages. Make it as automated as possible, with as little as possible. And use the same solar power system to power other things as well.

I would hope that as India grows it does not make the same mistakes other developing/developed countries have made, forgetting about the less fortunate.

My say is there is no point to judge The country by selected bad examples - you’ll find them everywhere. In Russia, you can find all sort of disgusting and brilliant things, the society is drastically segregated in education, ethics, technology, and skills. We have people degraded below the chimps, and we also have Nobel Prize laureates. But yes, knowing the bad examples gives you a good warning what to check with your partners.

Last winter, I had a silly idea to buy an organic mattress made in Chicago and sold on-line by an American company. If I am to tell you a story of this order, as a customer service case for a business person it would look very much like this wire picture for an advanced technical person.
The only difference is that wire mess has a visible physical appearance.

Lol, I would hate to be the repair guy with this. To answer your question, NO.

I’m laughing as my roommate showed me this a few days before it was posted on here, however I feel that India as a society is very, very large and one will see contrasts of all sorts when one goes there… it is just the nature of the country and one has to experience it to understand.
