I worked for Robert Shippee every day for 3 years at the test center the poster spoke of. (I also worked for the good commander at the time). I am an electrical engineer now, and there is not a day gone by that I don't use something I learned from FTM1 Shippee. Hard work, dedication, pride, desire to be the best. When I think of professionalism I think of him. He would be mad that I considered him a friend, (because he was my boss) but I did, and my grief was very profound when I learned of his death. Even though we never served on a ship together, I wish you fair winds shipmate.

My apologies, I understand how it feels to lose someone in those kinds of conditions.

My Grandfather was an Officer in the Navy for nearly 8 years. It's a shame one of your friends died serving our great country!
