I hope that they have some tutorials for beginners because putting the facebook presentation together was hard to do without having any prior knowledge of how to use the program.
I think wix is becoming a very powerful tool, because it is becoming easier to use, to create even better looking products. It’s pretty awesome. I know nothing about computer programming, or anything beyond basic student uses for a computer, but I can create a very nice looking mini page.
I expect to see this everywhere soon.
I really like wix presentations over powerpoint presentations. I like how the Facebook group started off with powerpoint and then switched to wix!! That was great! Wix is user friendly and very eye catching.
I agree with Rachel. I enjoyed the Facebook presentation much more than just looking at a powerpoint presentation. With all the buttons and graphics, it makes it more interesting to the audience. I’m just curious what age group of people use wix the most.
I think powerpoint/zoho is a lot better for presentations. It is easier to design (especially to format well).
Wix can be very useful for websites.
I think silverlight is going to make a much bigger difference in the way websites are designed.
PowerPoint just seems kinda bland now…
I still kind of like microsoft power point, just because it is simple to use, and does not run of the internet. However I can also see the benifits to using WIX for larger presentations.
Well, I figured we should use whatever floats our boat…or what is required of us. Personally, I haven’t fumbled around with Wix yet and so I probably at least give it a shot. Powerpoint is pretty good although it’s really limited, and you can’t do too much with it. I’ve never used Silverlight so I have no comment on it. I’d just go with whatever is most comfortable.
I certainly hope that the user interface has not gotten any more difficult because I know little to nothing about making a website and I was confident in using wix before.
I believe that Wix is going to become a big company. It is growing and coming out with new programs. It is also very easy to use, and that is what all people look for. People look for something that is easy to use and that is very useful. But like Ramiz said, I would rather use Microsoft. But only because its already installed in my computer and I can open it in 2 seconds.

wix is a pretty cool website
All that wix has to offer is great, but I was a little confused when looking at the website. I am sure I would love it once I got used to the program.
Wix is great for websites and could replace powerpoint for certain types of presentations, its a great resource.
that looks pretty cool to me but i still prefer powerpoint over this although wix is more advance and all that but powerpoints are easier to operate =)
I think the new wix is more advanced then Powerpoint since it has much more to offer the creator but I havent used Wix yet so I cant really judge how easy wix is to use. Lets hope it has become easier to use since I have been hearing stories about the trouble Wix will cause its users.
tutorials are a definite. this is a definite plus, the upgrade and all, but somewhat hard to learn all over again - worth the while though.
For someone like myself, not at all computer savvy, wix is a great tool to have. It easy to use and offers a more creative approach than powerpoint.

In with the new(wix) and out with the old(power point). Wix is a great tool to captivate your audidence with all of it’s features and functions, whereas powerpoint is so blah and just a format to put words on a slide and to change from one slide to the next, wow, right? I’ve already used wix a couple times and believe it is an essential tool into bringing your ideas and project to life by making it more interesting.
