After selling this house next to President Obama, is this startup over? Maybe they will try similarly find similar houses to sell other people. I personally am not really interested in this business. Would they be getting much money by the person who buy this? I didn’t know president obama’s private home was located at Chicago.

I notice that there are a good number of small startups that just happen to get lucky. Just the right time and the right formula. Of course, as CHris B said, they would also need good talents and solid offerings; luck is just a part of the formula

I also wouldnt necessarily call this luck. This firm obviously got picked for their talents, and not just out of the blue.

It is good to have luck, but I think it has more to do with planning and timeing.

I was looking at their site and the one they did for the real estate site looks like their own site with a few alterations bet it took them a day to get it up. Its great to see someone thats local succeed even if it started out by getting very lucky.

Webdesign market is a very intense market, you can hire any IT major intern for a lot less and still do a fairly good job.
Although this website is a success, I don’t see any unique ability shown by the company to guarantee its success in the future from what I have seen.
To be successful in markets like this, luck is one of the essential need, but one still need to make the most out of his luck.

This is a very inspiring story about how you can catch a break and become successful. This story shows that if you have an idea and believe in it, it doesn’t matter if all signs point to no, you can still be successful with it.
