The company Dork Corp name sounds very funny. So all Purdue students are the audiences. So not all cases of the windows 7 is successful in instaling? we should be aware before we buy them.

Dont have a chance to play around with win 7 much yet, have a RC copy but haven’t pick up the retail version since they’re sold out at itap like first thing in the morning. But I really liked win 7 RC, so expect great thing. I use both Mac and Windows, they’re good at respective aspect.

I love that something as simple as an operating system can raise such great heated debate. I am not a Mac user and i hate Vista. I assume i’ll hate Windows 7 as well. In the Diffusion of Innovations model you could consider me a laggard when it comes to upgrading my os. Windows should release a version that is completely free of stupid gimmicks and try to just get what its made for right.

If comcast wasnt going in and out on me for the last 3 days i would have dont the windows 7 upgrade. Now i am happy I havent I think i will just wait a month or so.

I’ll be making the conversion to windows 7, but I always expect things like that to take forever (I’m not too computer savvy).

I can’t see how windows 7 isn’t a success, our own boiler copy shop has been sold out of the 64 bit for days. As for upgrading, I was successful updating from xp to 7 in no more than 30 min. The only problem I ran into was the one that Adam mentioned with the biometric fingerprint scanner.
