I like the idea of the OWLE. It also looks very sleek. However, it is pretty heavy. I wouldn't be surprised if they come up with a newer version that is more compact, thinner and lighter. Also, in regards to the letter from the manager, I don't think the other product is a direct copy of their product. If someone was going to copy the OWLE, I would hope they would do a better job, because it looks very primitive and bulky, like a rough prototype straight from a machining lab, used only for functionality testing. Weird.

I am really impressed with the video quality. I tried video taping with my friend's i phone. However, it was really hard for me because it was shaky. After this OWL was invented, more people will be taking videos with iphone since it gives them more professional feeling. I think the price range is a bit expensive. Also, it was interesting the manager from OWLE said their device was the only one can shoot edit and upload video all on the same device.

From the comparison of the two videos that you showed in class, the OWLE iphone video and the droid video. I think the OWLE video turned out better. I think the lens really helps a lot.

Wow the video quality on that is really good. After watching the video of the Droid video tape the same path it is obvious OWL makes video so much more clear.

Very interesting, but if one already has a camcorder or good camera quality and not an iphone this OWLE seems pritty useless unless they want to spend an extra $$$ few for something that's not necessary and will be marketed down in the near future...

This is a great product. It keeps the iPhone extremely still and focused and the video quality is great. The audio is very good as well, all in all it is a great product.

After watching the two videos and comparing them i think that the Owle is definitely a good product. I don't know if it was more because of Owle or the iphone but the video from the combination of the two was much better quality than the video from the Droid. Just another thing to consider when making the comparison between iPhone and Droid.

I am extremely impressed by the stability of this technology when in use... and the quality of the video stream as well as the audio is nothing short of amazing.
