jay-z and 50 cent are too successful men. They are smart and know how to market themselves. They make great music but also make great products such as clothing and music equipment.

I just think it is cool that they have expanded beyond the realm of music into other ventures to show that they are successful. I think the next step is giving back and helping others attain what they have ascertained through their hard work. Giving back also does not have to be in the form of monetary donations, but their time and advice are valuable as well.

If he started all those like “shoe companys” and what not, he’s def. got a lot of people hanging on to his coat tails, I can think of a dozen hiphop artists off the top of my head who have there own brands (none of which are overly fantastic *Cough krunk energy drink cough*

I did not realize the entrepreneurs that were under all the rough and tough act that some rappers personify. I think that it is helpful to take a look at people who you may not believe to be successful businessmen and look closer to see just HOW they got to be so successful.
