How many words can you find in a flash? SCRABBLE FLASH CUBES is an innovative new way to play the classic crossword game without a game board as players slide, move and shuffle electronic cubed letter tiles in a race to create new words in 60 seconds. Providing a fast, frantic and addictive play experience, the five SCRABBLE FLASH CUBES letter tiles contain ‘Smart Tile Technology’ which recognizes formed words when the tiles are placed side by side, and keeps score of correctly spelled words. SCRABBLE FLASH CUBES provide an amazingly addictive play experience that you won’t want to put down! Times are a changing. Hank

Oh, this looks so fun! I think I would like this better than regular scrabble because it keeps score for you. Whenever I play, my opponent always manages to cheat somehow and always beat me. With this new technology, I can finally come out on top with a win! Also, there seems to be less equipment so you could play this in a larger variety of places. For example, this would be an easy game to play at a coffee shop or airport. I wonder what other kind of traditional games will be shaken up and played in new ways.

The game looks like fun but I don’t think it looks as interesting as the traditional form of scrable. I want to have points and double letters all while having to worry about placement. I like using other people’s letter that are already on the board too.

I absolutely hate these new games. Part of the benefit kids used to get from these board games was learning how to do math in their heads. Now with the game doing all of the scoring for them, they don’t have to think. The new Monopoly game is the worst. Rather than managing cash, you just swipe a credit card and you’re done. I think it’s a conspiracy theory by the credit card companies to get them brainwashed and into debt early, but that may be going too far. Time will tell.

This reminds me of those online word scramble games, I’ve wasted a good amount of time on those. Would be nice if they included some kind of board/screen that told you the words that you’ve already spelled though. Now that I think about it though it wouldn’t be worth the extra cost.

I’ve never been a huge scrabble fan, because I can barely spell my own name. However, I would love to give this a try! It seems like the past decade has been full of re-vamping already existing pop culture icons. Many of the movies that have come out have been remakes or based on a book, and the new games introduced are modern versions of board games from the 60-70s. There is less marketing needed when the public is already familar and hooked on a topic. I’m not complaning, just commenting.

This is cool stuff. I personally find it intriguing to think that games that I played as a kid will become hi-tech games. I’m interested to see what game they will innovate next.

This is amazing. I am a big fan of scrabble and so are a lot of my friends. It’s great to see how the new technology of today’s world is really starting to take over and replace all of the classic board games.

I’m not to big with vocabulary games but this does seem like something others might like. Finding new ways to play old games is inevitable with the advancement of technology.

This looks like a great concept and is a very interesting use of technology but I can’t imagine it will sell very well. From personal experience games that require batteries simply a hassle. Secondly I think that one of the most enjoyable components of scrabble is debating over the existence of words. An interesting use of technology but I don’t think this will fly off the shelves.

Scrabble really doesn’t need this high tech stuff. It takes away from the game. Back in my days…

This game sounds like so much fun! I actually have a few aps on my iphone similar to this game. I don’t know if I’d buy the physical game though because I already do have the aps. Great idea though!

What a unique alternative to cross words and multi-player scrabble. These little cubes can be used in travel very easily because of how compact light they are. This is a great alternative to having to carry around a scrabble bored, plus it gives individuals the opportunity to play by himself.

I’ve played scrabble many times and think its fun exactly the way it is. But with today’s technology, even board games are changing. In the long run, this might be a success, however, when it first comes out I imagine people are going to stick with the original. Definately wouldn’t mind giving it a try though.

This brings me back to the old days where playing board games was the way to go. This is a great idea for children who are interested in playign scrabble with a little bit of a twist now. This has just shown how technology is constantly growing generation to generation and where its at today is just unbeleivable. I am definately in favor of this and would definately enjoy trying this out at some point to see what I can do.

thats really neat. I wonder if there are any words it wont recognize? times are definately changing. but at the same time, i would miss the old scrabble.

Haha, this looks like a great idea. Little kids would much rather put blocks together than have to keep the little pens and paper. It also shows whether they actually got a word or not. The person doing it wasn’t very good though.

cool idea…i wonder who came up with that idea…seems like it would be easy to think of. i wonder how they work, if the cubes are fed wireless signals and recognize the words or what.

I think that digital enhanced games are too much for kids. It seems like the digital realm is becoming attractive to the younger generation more and more. My Adopted sister who is four uses my mom’s broken old cell phone as a toy! I think that parents should still with the cheaper and more classical Board Games!
