Fat Lady Sings Day
Posted on April 29th, 2010 41 commentsThis is the last blog. Unlike Randy Pausch’s [he has since died] Last Lecture, I don’t have great thoughts to share. I do believe this:
Live on the edge; go without fear and do some fun and crazy stuff in and with your life. If you ever find yourself bored, have the balls to run, not walk away, and change. That’s what Corpus Christi and sailing is all about. Make your own luck. And don’t forget to think different. Every day, smile and laugh; don’t take yourself too seriously. As a start, enjoy the BMW ad below. Hank

What a great BMW ad to end the year on! And thanks for a great year Hank. Though sometimes it seemed like a rush to get our projects and assignments accomplished, it was a great year. Thanks for all of your help and support. Have a great time in Corpus Christi!

It has been a great semester! I have embraced the concept of “living on the edge” and have found that you must do something that you love, do it well and you can make a lot of money.
This class has taught me to embrace your different thinking, and be positive. I often smile and laugh because I don’t take this experience too seriously. I’m try to discover the best market for myself and that is in management and hopefully into a successful entrepreneur.
Thanks for a great class!

Thanks for a great semester. The main thing that ENTR200 has really left me with is you have to be 10 times better. It’s not enough to just be as good as someone else or just a little above them. Always being 10 times better is a great goal to have for anything in life.

I agree. This class has been a great experience, expanded my knowledge of entrepreneurship and gave me the opportunity to meet some great people with similar interests and goals.
I am planning on continuing on with ENTR 201 next semester and have the eventual goal of earning the Cert. in Entrepreneurship.
Thanks Hank!

Thanks Hank. You really helped me get used to thinking like an entrepreneur. You encouraged us to get creative, think of new ideas, and taught us how important it is to grab the bull by the horns. Your’e a badass
I like the advertisement. There’s nothing wrong with something being a little broken in as long as it still works lol. Have fun in Corpus Christi

Great words of wisdom Hank. This certainly hasn’t been the easiest class to get through, but I have to say I’ve learned a lot about entrepreneurship and myself, both my strengths and my weaknesses. Thank you for everything Hank, and enjoy Corpus Cristi!

By far the best class I have taken! Really wish you taught ENTR 201! This class definitely taught me how to think differently about life in general. Thanks for a great semester! Enjoy sailing!

Damon Ward April 29th, 2010 at 22:35
ENTR 200 was definitely a fun class to take. I enjoyed all the technology that was integrated into the course and daily discussions and also that we continuously practiced public speaking, and pitching and presenting companies. I have a different perspective and approach to how I deal with all things involving money and business (which is basically everything, I think?). Bottom line I really enjoyed the class, and I learned quite a bit too. Enjoy Corpus Christi, sailing, and whatever else life throws your way Hank. Thanks!
