I know that I will defiantley be looking at JCPenny more when it comes to shopping. I think their business model is a good idea, and it will be interesting to see how it pans out. However, I don't see how they could make very much profit if all their products are at the lowest they could possibly be all the time?..

I found the presentation statistics interesting. For example, I would have assumed that women would have more slides/words on slides than men.

There are some key benefits to using cloud technology. The major one being that its saved online, so there's no reason why you'd lose your presentation, or have any technological errors or mishaps that sometimes occur with powerpoint.

One benefit to powerpoint though is that I'm assuming it's easier to merge group slide presentations in powerpoint than on some of the other websites. Also as the above user said I agree that prezi is less professional than powerpoint.

Personally, I am not a fan of Prezi (I've never used Wix so all opinions are based on Prezi). I think that Prezi is a good tool for fun presentation, but I believe that in a professional environment it is better to have a simple, non-flashy, slide show. Also with Presi you run the risk of people getting disoriented.

This really helps people to interact with the superbowl instead of just watching it on television. Americans love to know that they are apart of something, especially when it is one of the largest televised events of the year. I would have definitely downloaded it if I would have known before February 5th.

I also think the word "Pursuit" is a great word in itself to describe entrepreneurs. Pursuit is at the foundation of almost all the other traits found in entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs must have that constant drive to think of the next idea or make the next dollar. Their whole life is dedicated to pursue originality and their dreams.

I agree with Hana on the subject of motor actions help kids learn things better...I learn most my information when I'm physically making my flash cards, then practicing my flashcards only helps me from there.

I really do think iBooks could be the next big thing, though. Putting restrictions on the ipads (keeping the students from getting distracted with games) would be my only suggestions. If teachers could successfully keep students focused, I believe the animations and neat graphics would help students get more interested and learn better at any level.

I think this JCP's low cost approach will work if they promote it correctly. For instance, I did not know about this change until I read this article. I think something this monumental for their store should be advertised on every commercial like Wal-Mart does. If they are able to do this, I think we will see sales increase and also other stores eventually going down the same path.

I can only see two potential road blocks. The price and the speed. People like fast food because well..... it's fast. However, who's to say BK can't figure out a business model that will allow them to deliver quickly. If they restrict how far each location delivers and prepares food quickly they could definitely get the food out quickly (Just like Jimmy Johns at Purdue).

And the delivery price is pretty high. At McDonalds I can get two more burgers for the price of BK's delivery charge. In addition I have to spend at least $8..... What?! So no matter what I have to spend at least $10 (not to mention tax and tip). So this may work for customers that have a little extra money to spend (there aren't too many of those people around now-a-days) or people who REALLY love BK (and they would probably be willing to walk/drive there anyway). As for the average customer, we'll be headed to McDonalds.

I like the way he has broken down the definition of Entrepreneurship into several points. He provides his own ideas and meaning to the definition, which makes the readers look at Entrepreneurs from a completely different perspective. I agree with him completely, as he describes entrepreneurs as innovative and always looking for new opportunities.

I think this should work to an extent. I'm sure their sales will increase, but I don't see the move being a major game changer.
